How long before PIH blood pressure returns to normal after delivery?
I had the pregnancy-induced hypertension and had to deliver my baby of 35 weeks. I'm on labetalol 3 times a day now and my blood pressure 160/105 still works unless you are resting. My baby tomorrow is a week old was 5 lbs 12 oz so it has to come home with me thank God I had the steroid injections for his breathing was normal. How much long should I wait to be on blood pressure medicines?
Blessing is nice to know that mom and baby is home safe and sound, sometimes people has HB during pregnancy, a couple of weeks after they go, and then depends on whether your family and your lifestyle. Try to take it easy, rest a little if you can also get some help with the baby of the family and friends that this will help close some.
