How should a tens unit be used at home? Every day or only when it hurts?
I have back, neck and arm pain. The arm pain is nerve damage. I go to therapy once a week. I have a massage chair, lidocaine patches, heat, cold. I'm not too big on oral medications, but they have cream.
Following an accident resulting in permanent nerve damage, which was to physiotherapy and Ergo therapy 2x 3x a week along with other forms of therapies slowly decreasing to 0 at all. I do all the physical therapy exercises every morning, ending with the scores for 15 minutes. If you have a bad day in particular, I use the machine a few dozen times a day. Before stopping treatment, have your therapist that all the different settings in the tens and how use them correctly.
