What massage lotions can you recommend?
I’m looking for a paraben free, light lotion. Either unscented or lavender scented. Natural ingredients I can understand. My current favorite is California Baby Calming lotion but it’s a small bottle for a high price and hard to find. My husband and I are learning to give each other relaxing massages. We’ve started with facial massage so the lotions need to be gentle.
And where can I buy them? I prefer Amazon or a regular brick and mortar store. Thank you!
So is Jojoba oil okay for facial use? I was afraid of break outs and adverse reactions from oils.
The best is Jojoba oil. The molecules that make up Jojoba oil are almost identical to why you skin produces to moisturize its self. It is readily absorbed into the skin and is the most ideal lubricant and skin conditioner available.
The only down sides to it is the cost and you need to get used to the idea on using less of it at first since it spreads slowly compared to other oils.
Almond oil is a very common skin lubricant. This is because it is one of the most inexpensive oils available. It is the most common cause of allergic reactions from massage oils. It is not absorbed well and it stains sheets. I dislike it so much I would not use it if you paid me and gave me free sheets to replace the stained ones.
