Do people of a certain blood type to donate blood better than others?
I am AB-and so are a couple of people I know. Today in our blood drive schools, each one of us gave a pint. The three of us did great. We did not become weak or unstable, nor did we experience nausea. In fact, we better if not exactly the same as before the donation. Some other students fainted or experienced less severe symptoms. Is this an individual attribute that we share or is due to our blood type?
That's very good that the donated blood, but no, his blood type has no effect on its response to the donation of blood. The weakness and nausea are caused by not enough blood to carry oxygen to the brain. After a while the body produces more red blood cells to compensate for what was taken. This has no effect on blood type they have because there is a blood type that occurs faster or more is called thicker than others.
